The Administration on Developmental Disabilities (ADD) 2006 Technical Assistance Institute was held at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C., August 9 – 11, 2006. ADD welcomed staff, directors, co-directors, youth grantees, and emerging leaders to the event. The theme for the institute was Empowered Youth: Difference in Action! To represent this theme, we invited youth or emerging leaders to design and submit artwork for the logo, which is shown at the top of this page. Who Attended This event was intended for the 15 grantees program and project staff, as well as emerging leaders, staff, principle investigators for research projects, or other grantee staff who are implementing and participating in the program activities in their respective serving areas. Attendance was limited to two individuals from each grantee. Each group attending included one youth or emerging leader representative. Institute Sponsors and Hosts
