The 4 TC Meeting is part of an initiative to increase collaboration among federally funded training centers with overlapping or related missions.

Meeting Goals:

  1. Increase training collaboration of overlapping focus areas of STD/HIV prevention and treatment, family planning/reproductive health, and substance use prevention and treatment

  2. Maximize the use of training resources.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this meeting, participants will:

  1. Enhance and strengthen collaborative working relationships among the 4 TCs.

  2. Increase joint training activities.

  3. Incorporate the most current, evidence-based information related to STD/HIV, family planning/reproductive health, and substance abuse prevention and treatment into training activities.

This meeting will provide the opportunity to formalize collaborative efforts, identify additional training–related needs of the targeted populations and agencies serving them, and maintain state-of-the-art information related to the applicable content areas.

The sponsoring Federal agencies look forward to welcoming the 4 TCs to discuss current research- and evidence-based training practices, and to share training experiences.  The conference content will be comprised of presentations by leading experts, as well as sharing of cutting edge work from the field.
